DLD began in 2004 performing with a known Chicagoland entertainer, Arthur J. Daniels http://www.chicagolandentertainer.com both background dancing and performing thier own Hip Hop pieces during shows. DLD continues to background dance for Arthur J. Daniels while also performing on their own. DLD always strives to put a creative twist on everything they choreograph whether it is Hip Hop or any other style. DLD's main objective with every performance is to provide an ecletic dance experience for any audience and to always leave them wanting more.

Some of DLD's performances to date include Dance Chicago's Dance Slam 2008 and 2009, Guest Performances for the Elmhurst Park District, 2009 and 2010 DuPage County Fair, Guest Performances for WIU's GBCC Dance Troupe Spring 2010 and 2011 Concerts, Soldier Field for the 12th Annual Chicago Football Classic, MotorCity Casino-Hotel in Detroit, Michigan, Downtown Downers Grove Cruisin Nights and most recently our Hip Hop Dance Production of the Wizard of Oz!

DLD has held several events in which they use a portion of the profits to sponsor children at DLD Dance Center who otherwise would not be able to afford to take dance classes. DLD Dance Center opened in June of 2011 and each of it's Instructor's are also members of DLD Dance Company. At DLD we feel that it is important for our Instructors to still be learning, performing and growing as dancers which continuously inspires us to be the best Instructors and Dancers we can be.
